Capture the Problem

With i-Sight, you can give every employee in your organization the ability to record defects, non-conformances, complaints and exceptions – quickly and efficiently, using only a standard web browser. i-Sight’s web-based intake form is configured uniquely for every business to ensure that you capture the information you need: description of the problem, time, location and/or any other detail you deem relevant.

Workflow

Each time an issue or a corrective action is entered into the i-Sight solution, customized workflow can be used to notify all appropriate parties. Typically this takes the form of an email alert – recipients simply click a link to view case and corrective action details.

Investigate and Develop a Plan

Investigating the root cause of a problem and identifying the corrective action can be challenging. i-Sight provides the tools you need to coordinate the appropriate resources, track deadlines and ensure accountability. From within a corrective action file, the case owner can develop milestones or tasks and assign them to the desired parties. Each task owner is notified by email of his or her responsibility. If tasks aren’t completed on time, the case owner is automatically notified and can take appropriate action.

Approval & Closure

Once the action plan has been approved and specific tasks assigned, execution begins. i-Sight enables all personnel involved in the corrective action to record their findings and progress in a centralized corrective action file. At a glance, managers can view the status of the case and all outstanding tasks. As tasks are completed, managers can review and approve them. Once the entire action plan has been completed, managers can close out the file.
